Kodak Easyshare M 200 Mini Review

As the name suggest this Mini upbringing from Kodak is really compact not bigger than the size of a credit card and hence can fit into any pocket or purse very easily. And there is no extra load to carry weighing less than 100 gms. But the small size does not mean, it compromise on the screen size. It features a 28 mm wide-angle lens that can fit in more number of friends in the snap than you would expect.

The 2.5 inch bright LCD shows more vivid details with the KODAK color science. The picture clarity is such that you would like to relive the moments with same sharpness and clarity. The camera lens provides 3x zoom to go closer to the details, starting from 29mm and extending upto 87mm, along with an equivalent aperture of f/3.5-f/5.9 forming a crisp edges even with higher zoom.

The 10 mega pixel Kodak Easyshare M 200 Mini is more than sufficient for all practical needs. 10 mega pixel means you can even take brilliant prints up to a size of 30 x 40 in. More mega pixels means you can crop and enlarge and still manage a great picture quality. The camera is not great but still comes out to be better than mobile cameras and at a cheaper price tag, you can go for it. Kodak has made it attractive by adding some catchy features like zoom control, panorma mode, undo delete, smart capture and share feature, along with built-in mirror for self photography. It also supports you with 16:9 format of high definition video so that you watch it just right when you connect it to big screen HD TV. The best feature for youngsters is that you can share pictures to multiple social networks like Face Book, Twitter, You Tube and also on e-mails. Adding cherry to the cake, is the Kodak’s Face Recognition feature, that can recognize up to five faces in a single image. It also imbibes Photo Management software that can carry name tags for easy search. Blur Reduction feature is also a part of parcel.

 

To make Kodak Easyshare M 200 Mini an all round snapper, multiple scene modes are made available including auto, sport, portrait, snow, fireworks, and backlight so that camera adjust the setting automatically and give the best possible image. This mini camera gets energy from Li-Ion rechargeable battery and in-camera charging . With an internal memory of 32 MB, camera shows compatibility with SD and SDHC cards.

Overall, the LCD screen resolution is low, cannot be the choice of those real photographers but certainly would make a choice for kids and first time buyers at a low price.
